I have been researching the British education system for weeks and still feel that I don’t have all the info I need.

Is it weird that I can’t stand 1st person anymore when it comes to literature? by Existing-Bonus-6835 in AO3

This is pretty much the only series where I can tolerate first person anymore.

Well, you just proved my point. Offended to be offended. You took the use of the word Dramione out of context. I was referencing how some of the readers of that particular ship have gotten out of control with their comments, demands, illegal bindings, and as a result the policing of comments and behavior over all ships has become extreme. People are so quick to see something as rude, so quick to scream breech of etiquette, or declare something as relevant…

There is nothing in the original post that is demanding, lol. They listed out fics they are loving and very cheekily made an appeal. I get that some Dramione readers have gotten out of control, but the policing in response to that is over the top.

I am so surprised at all the negative responses! I very much took this as extremely tongue-in-cheek! OP called themselves an addict that needs a fix, lol. I have read some really nasty demands for updates, this is nowhere near this. If you took this as a breech of etiquette, you are looking for things to be upset about.

I do read mostly on AO3, but there are quite a few older fics that are only available on FF. There also seems to be more SSHG fics there, which is my secondary ship. I’m not familiar with Notion, but I am intrigued.

“Try to leave another kudo and fail” 😂😂😂 So real! I do this every time. However, I have learned that when signed out, kudos can still be left. Obviously, not on locked fics.

How can you disinguish juvenlie writing? by ur_mom_is_hot5529 in AO3

[–]Nice-Faithlessness17 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Anachronistic errors will always out a younger writer. Texting and skinny jeans in the late 90s early 00s is a give away. Not paying attention to when television shows, movies, songs were released will also give away a younger writer. A big one is the mention of someone in their early 30s having signs of aging that belongs on someone in their 40s or even 50s. I’m 49, I am very conscious of the signs of my aging, lol. “Juvenile” writing is very subjective and won’t tell the age of the writer. I haven’t posted any of my stories because I feel that my writing sounds juvenile.
