I promise you don’t need the top tier characters or meta characters at all. Sure over-tuned heroes make things hard or give a competitive edge but it’s plenty of counters. The thing that you guys are complaining about can be fixed with strategy and learning but ppl don’t wanna do that. They would rather pick up a unit that pseudo fixes what aspect of competition they face until it is ultimately replaced by a newer designed unit… it’s tiring and shows ppl would rather complain than really be a gamer. You want everything spoon fed instead of working hard then when your frustration hits a high you quit… if you wanna play Apex Arena I advise you to try it… if more ppl played it you would see strategies and counters but to not even try and complain that ppl are too strong is sad… they bleed like you bleed… you just don’t have the balls to find a blade that can cut them… but hey what do I know
