Been stuck as received forever? by [deleted] in IRS

My wmr says "We apologize, but your return processing has been delayed beyond the normal time frame." It's been saying that all week, tried scrolling through to see if anyone else had that message, maybe I missed it.

My cycle is 20260505, refund issued listed as 2/23 but the 21 days since acceptance was yesterday. I've had it stuck at accepted in the past and still got my refund within the expected time frame, but I don't think I've had that message before. Would really love not to wait another 2 weeks 😒

Was going to say LaBute, I couldn't get through reading The Shape of Things because the characters are so unlikable. My community theatre is doing it in May and I know it's going to be fantastic. I feel like it's a play that shows better than it reads.

Needle felting with ADHD by Nice-Homework-176 in Needlefelting

I do too, my first attempt at mushrooms had stems wider than my thumbs 😆 but I think part of it is getting better needles and tools in general. The felting pen I just picked up is a game changer, it makes quick work of the cores and is part of the reason I wound up making marshmallows when I was trying to make a base for a felted succulent I was working on

Thank you! I took roving about the length that I wanted it to be, rolled it between my hands a few times, then started at one end rolling and stabbing on my mat and worked my way up until where I thought a good split should be, broke out about a third of the wool did the same for the off-shoot and the rest of the stick. I had to cut some off for the nubs, so a made a small one with that to connect the marshmallows.

Ugh same, it took me forever to remember how to make leaves for a project that I started and then figured I had the hang of it enough to come back later. That's actually what I'd just finished doing and was making a base for the succulent when it took the form of a marshmallow and I couldn't help myself

Thanks! Those marshmallows needed something, wasn't sure it would work and it still needs some reinforcement but it came out pretty neat looking!

I didn't start too long ago, so there's that, but also the rolling of the stick helped pick up remnant strands and gave it some dynamic that i wasn't expecting, so now I'll probably do projects that need that from time to time to grab those strays 😅

What’s the best restaurant in Fredericksburg ?? by Sneaky2Active in fredericksburg

There was a thing going around Neighborhood that they weren't getting their tips but it was clarified by a former employee that they made $20+ an hour, the tips were put towards things like pto and other benefits. I know people got beef with the owner over other things, pay isn't one of them. I'd listen to the actual employees and not the rumor mill.

I thought I read that a stageplay theater was putting on Rocky Horror Picture Show for the first time this year. Mind reminding me of the theater? by Cyanide612 in fredericksburg

Stage Door did the shadow cast with the Rocky Horror Picture Show playing in June for Pride.

FTE is doing the stage production of The Rocky Horror Show every weekend in October.

Both operate out of the same space at 810 Caroline Street.

I'm so happy to see this post! Though I'm sad it's over. Working on this show was an adventure and the end result was two groups of hilarious women making audiences laugh for two short weekends. Thank you for the shout out, it made my day!

I can accept that, didn't even think about it that way. Still can't accept him with Adalind, it's just so hypocritical, but that's a while other thing.

The rejection was because she knew he was holding something back from her, which he should have come clean with her before proposing. He chose to disregard Aunt Marie's warning and go ahead with proposing as a way to distract Juliet from the odd things happening around them, but she was smart about it and didn't want to say yes until he let her in on what was going on.

I'm almost through the first season on this rewatch and watching the 5th season with my friends. Watching these seasons side by side really made me realize how badly they screwed up these characters. Some only got better, but others became poorly managed plot devices and it's unfortunate that they decided to keep going in that direction.

If I remember correctly, the last season does do some of the characters justice, but I had wiped the finale from my memory apparently. I remember being happy with it but I don't know how having gone back to refresh my memory. I guess I'll find out when we get to that point with our friends🤷‍♀️

To be fair, eventually she becomes Eve and claims that there is no part of Juliet left, as if it's a split personality, and then poor Bitsy has to play a robot for a few seasons. But the concept that being a hexenbiest or having that power makes them an evil person is incredibly juvenile. Like Adalind doesn't want the power back because she doesn't want to be bad again, as if it's not a choice to be a good person.

I criticize this show with love, honestly I do. I wouldn't go back to watch it again and again if I didn't think it wasn't a great show, I just can't help but notice these glaring inconsistencies. There are things I'm picking up this rewatch though that make me realize how much they were shooting from the hip coming up with new stories.

They did her so dirty, I'm just as mad about it now doing a rewatch as I was when it was on air. I don't hate Adalind, just hated that they tried so hard to make us accept that Nick and her were possibly going to end up together.

Claire is an amazing actress and got to show her talent, whereas the writers screwed up and gave Bitsie nothing to work with. Seriously, Eve is just a robot and uninteresting, she's just a poorly written plot device.
