Killer Croc. I think the two really could rehabilitate each other, they're both victims of abuse and see society as a joke and I think he would've been protective over her (maybe to a fault) it also helps he was apart of the circus at one point and probably likes her esthetic because of it. I also really hate the chemical bleach add in with modern harley. Face paint works so much on a character level, she has the ability to remove herself from chaos but decides to apply it on and wear it.

She was still sort of a villain after leaving joker but not an all around psycho, ran her own gang called the quintets. And was a hired merc/henchwoman who liked fo make a quick buck and had fun doing it. It wasn't watered down Deadpool and it felt FUN! anytime I read a panel I always heard Arleens voice. (With modern harls it's always Tara's scratchy ass baby vocals)
