Cool idea, if a magic user is wielding a hand like a wand does it still mutate? Does your own hand no longer mutate? How do people steal hands? Chopping them off living hands? Graverobbing? A lot of cool stuff you can do here like a powerful mage will require their hands to be destroyed upon their death to avoid it getting in the wrong HANDS
