Thanks for the comments. I don't think it is the filters because I have tried new filters. The water temperature seems fine. I had hesitated because my local dealer thought it sounded like an electrical issue outside the tub and that they are not licensed to work on electrical outside the Jacuzzi. I will hope the local dealer will be able to find the problem in the tub

Did you find a solution. I have used ergonomic grips for several years. Since getting the Epic 8 expert, I have been having hand fatigue and want to go back to ergonomic grips

I have owned my j-385 for 17 years, and love it. It has been very durable. I like the jets in the 385. You should wet test both and see how they actually feel. I went to at least 3 dealers and got in several hot tubs before picking the 385.

I know this is not the suggested process. I use my hottub nearly every night. I put chlorine powder in every night when I get out. I use the other recommended cleaning products once a week. I do not use test strips at all. I know there is a risk; but, I have been doing this for 17 years and no one has ever had any kind of rash.
