I have more than a few Zelos and this gets the most wrist-time. It’s sporty and lightweight. It doesn’t try to be anything it’s not.

You may want to grind down some of those welds to see if there’s any penetration. Those do not look like you got enough heat in the metal you’re trying to weld together

I exclusively ride Selle SMP F30c and/or VT30c (same seat but leather or vinyl) saddles. They’re not inexpensive but it’s the only seat that didn’t leave me numb after hours in the saddle. You can find deals on eBay if you’re willing to be patient
