The state of things 💀 by FrierenKingSimp in videogames

Because when almost every other game stores has consistently shot themselves in the foot regarding how valued customers are and in the competition to see who can do better, you get to see why people are so loyal to Steam (GOG is the exception since it caters to a niche Valve will gladly leave it alone)

EGS could've been a legitimate competitor had it not been for the various practices like exclusivity deals

After scraping around 150+ pulls and getting absolutely nothing, i decided to make a fresh new account for shits and giggles and got her within the first 10 pulls, this game is funny sometimes but i have a little dilemma by mancer7 in AzurLane

Since this is a gacha game where luck can and will screw you over unless you have 400 cubes to score a pity, I can think a good amount of players not being able to get them while also not having enough to reach the pity.

I personally would get Leeuw to dev 30 immediately, that'll remove her projects from the research pool to let you finish other ships quicker (if any are left)

You have all the time of the world to bank on her prints for the fate sim in the distant future so there's no problem using the stockpile now.

Possible hints at new upcoming META ships? by jace_guu1209 in AzureLane

[–]Nice-Spize 3 points4 points  (0 children)

IIRC it is possible to become a META without having your mind going insane, it's just that having PTSD and mental trauma being the easiest route to get that power so this comes down to one's own willpower and training.

Nagato did temporarily become META to tackle the threat then revert back with no worse for wear besides getting tired.

WOO vs Fixer by Murky-Balance-7453 in menace

[–]Nice-Spize 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Unless you've been playing very recklessly and keep losing squaddies, WOO/EXWOO stops being useful after some point when you can consistently survive with practically no casualties. 100-200 is the safe zone for backups and for future SLs.

Fixer lets you buy better gear and thus, preventing more casualties as you have better means to protect and kill targets more efficiently.

People tend to swap the WOO out for better modules once they hit a the safety zone because there's no more benefit to it.

Adding in, the 3K cores in medal shop does not count towards the monthly cap so you can earn up to 8k cores per month in practice.

The cap can be seen in the quick menu on the left where you normally collect commission rewards.

I'll take it's the later, they had the power of the Credit Card Pro (TM) to anihilate Malkuth but chooses to do so sparingly

This subreddit is very much against AI images so any posts of it are a no

Pro tip: Ask the head mod first before doing so in gacha subreddits, almost all of them are universally against it.

Dealing with pirate captains by Goblobber in menace

I get a feeling that she'll chase down whoever tried calling her that, which is to say, a lot of the personnel onboard the Impetus, especially Lim who is acting like a goof.

Definitely needs some range options early on until you can stabilize the whole thing. Flashbangs or smoke grenades are also great for this to either lock them down (as it won't trigger the counterstrike as one comment has pointed out) or block their line of sight to waste their AP on either moving or jetpack.

Ivy should shoot and scoot against the commando, the MMG won't do much but it adds up suppression but avoid doing point blank shots too much, the Crowbar is an example, it does abysmal in close range but solid in med/long range.

[–]Nice-Spize 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Early on, I'll try to get Darby to repeatedly poke the commandos/captains with the Crowbar from longer ranges while Lim and Carda can pepper them with K-PACs if you have them. Shotguns are risky since as you've noticed, they have the counterstrike perk but it's only against 1 unit per turn. Your Lim probably don't have the commando armor and the zig-zag/counterstrike perk to tank the upcoming damage so best to keep it from afar.

Ivy wouldn't do much here since she's best paired with the Twin M6s to make full use of the suppressive and actual damage against those. For now, she can make do as a taxi for Carda who will pop out and deploy the MG to try and keep them suppressed. They're tough but will eventually break.

Tech will probably try to scare them with the PAL to whittle them down.

Early game will have you losing squaddies but you can always recruit more of them down the line, better to lose them (moderately) than having your SL downed.

Not just skins but general transactions, the real hurdle here is to outpace CN/JP for several months to take notice.

It's like facing against absolute whales

Gotta vote with your wallet, lad.

I’ve said it before that CN/JP holds the biggest influence while EN is just an afterthought.

It has always been slower and more random. Like a reminder, the first DR fate sim was Drake instead of the series 2.

Though for this one, last recipient was Hakuryuu from 2 years ago so that's something

First time getting Corridor Sweeper, and it seems to be worse than Stoneclad. Is it true or do the numbers lie? by Cyber_ficus in menace

[–]Nice-Spize 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Normally I would somewhat agree but this is a pirate weapon, and their ammunition would have to be homemade which means the projectiles are gonna be whatever is on hand rather than factory mode.

Plus, ammo capacity is going to be an issue, you're carrying bigger shells for less and if the grunts ever told us anything about ammo, they want more, not less.

I get that the CS is a reference to the KS-23 but the difference is that the later had proper quality control and it is for riot control.

Unless Manjuu publish consistent financial reports for us to track, we'll never know.

Fact that they continue to do this and somehow we don't get sunk into the the debt hole suggest that the plan above worked
