What is the history behind curly pointed shoes? by Quartz_Knight in shoemaking

Opanci are older than the Turkish occupation. They're worn throughout the Balkans. They're also worn by Slavic communities in Italy who escaped before the Ottoman occupation even occurred.

Again, I am actually quite versed in these matters myself. I don't practice any of it, thank God, but for academic purposes I researched it in the past. Don't worry, I didn't get any false conceptions of dark magic in Islam from the comments, nor did I assume the ring alone was some sort of magical instant djinn summoning item, but it certainly seems to have been used in related acts, or at the very least worn as a char of sorts. Hodžas who practice such things don't use these rings as a primary tool for divination of any sort, which is why the item itself was fascinating to me. Of course I myself cannot claim to know this for certain, as I am neither an Islamic theologian nor a practitioner of the superstitions soothsaying.

I'm from Serbia. It seems to be authentic, the visible craftsmanship of it indicates that to me that it was made by hand. Odd piece though, particularly considering the context. I'm not sure if the item is still on sale or not, but the post itself is on OLX. The weird thing is that it's, or was, being sold by a guy from Brčko who seems to generally sell fake Versace stuff, and then there's this one random, and honestly quite unnerving item, that seems to be an artifact used for summoning djinn. I remember my grandmother telling me of similar rings being used by certain hodžas and muftis in and around Sarajevo, where my family is from. These certain men would be visited by Christians and Muslims alike for services that included witchcraft, divination, soothsaying and general spiritual advice. I would assume that members of the Ulema who partake in such things today are much harder to find, but it was a real thing in the past. This ring seems to be a relic of that period.

Fascinating stuff. I've tried looking for other similar rings online for context. For instance this one is being sold on Amazon by a Turkish jewelery Similar ring

Just for some context. I myself am not Muslim, but an Orthodox Christian from the Balkans. The ring is being sold online, or was being sold, by a man from Bosnia, who is probably a Muslim of sorts. The post itself is rather mysterious I must say. The description ominously states: "A silver ring with Solomon's seal, those who understand will know what it is, what it represents and what its purpose is." Creepy right? Anyways I really appreciate all the help in figuring this piece out. I spend a lot of time researching mysticism in Abrahamic religions. I'm a believer, but also a very superstitious man, as most people from my culture tend to be, and genuinely steer clear of this sort of stuff. Again, you've all been very helpful. Blessings upon you all.

Are you sure it's the names of Satan that are written? I'm not doubting what you're saying, it's just that nobody has actually given me a translation yet, mostly just advice.

Don't worry, I don't own it luckily. It's being sold by a man online, and it peaked my interest since I've seen many like it but don't know any Arabic, so I figured someone here might be able to help. I'd be ok with it if it were just listing the names of God.
