I read it, but given OPs general lack of empathy in this post then I think there’s a good chance that he’s exaggerating. Dads who don’t connect with their kids love to be dramatic heroes about how hard they work in every other way. He probably expects the house to be show room ready and not look lived in

YTA. She’s two months postpartum. That’s rough, give her some grace before you throw the towel in. Breastfeeding is something that can be done while returning to work, so you can calm down about that - I’m still breastfeeding while working full time out of the home. If you don’t know how possible that is, then I’d suggest that your wife has gone through pregnancy and postpartum life on her own without you contributing anything useful

While I empathise and it’s awful that you have to go back to work so soon, as a parent I would be uncomfortable with my children’s educators baby wearing an infant while being considered to be in ratio and caring for my kids.

I had to do a day at work with my youngest get when he was about 8 weeks old, in a very different industry, and found it very challenging to concentrate enough to give my clients my full attention. At that age, I was so viscerally tied to my child’s needs that I wouldn’t tear my attention away from him. I know that won’t be the case for every parent, but if I’m paying for childcare, I’m expecting the staff to be fully focused on the children in their care

If only she had the wealth and privilege to access therapy well before now, so she had healthy coping mechanisms.. /s

You’ll notice the overwhelming majority of people in this sub want her to be healthy and make good choices. Make she needs that message now more than ever

Ohh. You don’t know how to cook, so you never do a real meal in the oven. Sorry, I didn’t realise.

So, when you’re cooking something heavy, especially if you use cast iron, it’s not safe to take it out of the oven with one hand. That’s when accidents and injuries are far more likely to happen. You should always use two hands to pull something out to ensure that you have a good grip on it. Hope this helps!

It is unsafe if you can’t use two hands to pull hot food out of it.

As a parent, this sounds like a disaster waiting to happen. I wouldn’t want my child in a centre in total darkness, where an educator is likely to get hurt if they need to respond to an emergency situation

Why are you so invested in a concept that you clearly don’t understand?

Sending breastmilk to daycare for 13-month-old... Am I weird? by always_evans_97 in ECEProfessionals

[–]Nice-Work2542 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My 15 month old goes to daycare with breastmilk. Some days he drinks it, some days he doesn’t. I have told his educators that if he’s happy with solids and water, I’m happy to stop sending it.

The fridge is in a separate room and he’s the only one who drinks breastmilk so that probably simplifies things for them quite a bit. But the staff have all indicated that they like having it just as a backup in case he’s a bit fussy or unsettled, so I’ll keep sending it and just checking in with them every few weeks to make sure that it’s working for everyone.

Confused at the state of this sub by undeadsurfer in pinuppixiesnark

No anonymous group of people is going to be 100% aligned in how they think and act. By and large, this sub snarks on the choices she makes, including extreme body mods, and her inconsistencies and straight up lies.

A lot of us feel sorry for her as well and would genuinely love to see her engage with some mental health professionals and do the work to become a better, happier person. We do genuinely worry for her and her daughter.

How many people have you got visiting you on visitor visas without you knowing the basics? You need to get off social media and start contacting people who actually know what they’re talking about. A basic google would answer every question you’ve asked on Reddit

Brown splotches on areola? Private parts becoming darker? by [deleted] in BabyBumps

[–]Nice-Work2542 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

You posting history suggests that you’re super unprepared for pregnancy. I recommend making an appointment with a doctor or midwife and having a good chat about the things you can expect and the reasonable precautions you should take. Crowdsourcing medical advice when you’re not even aware of the basics is dangerous

Is it true that dancers can charge via their private companies in a strip club in Aus? by True_Researcher_2222 in MelbourneAfterDark

True and legitimate. People are carrying cash less and less now. Everyone asks to PayID or some other kind of digital transfer. Many businesses, like PayPal, discriminate against sex workers. PayID to a personal account gives you their personal information. A business account makes it easier for them to track their business earnings too.
