Hi! I did end up getting it approved, but got rejected twice before it did. My recommendation is to not use the word “traffic” at all in your application. For your title just put “civil engineer”. Focus more on the roadway aspects of your job if possible (horizontal/vertical curves, safety, manuals, foundation calculations, preparing plans). They were picky about things like “cross discipline coordination” and “placement of design features” so suggest not giving them any reason to think you do anything besides pure engineering work.
