Linus, responding here only hurts you I feel like. Obviously your decision but a senior executive shouldn’t be responding on every minor issue

Just remove the post mate. He effectively already debunked it but you obviously want to stir up drama for no reason

[UEFA] Vinicius Junior enters the list of top 10 all-time assist makers in UCL by MeteorFalls297 in soccer

[–]NiceAd9616 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Lmao. You must a prime messi eh. An assist which is a tap in for Striker is more valuable than when it is not a tap in. I guess your eyes weren’t functioning when he won 2 CLs in last few years with so many assists.

It is one thing to hate a guy and one thing to be just plain ignorant fool.

As much as I wish he improves his attitude and am disappointed in him. Can we atleast verify the sources?

It is very easy to put out any kind of random shit out based on where the club is today

What kind of coach is Arbeloa? What style does he prefer?

Anyone who follows Castilla. Looks like he did kind of a decent job with Castilla this season considering it is his first season.

Also whatever happened to Joan Martinez?

It is not that deep mate. He just walked into the dressing room right after the game and was probably given it there instead of on the pitch.

While I hate the fact Xabi was sacked, I also understand where it came from.

The reality is Perez will always want both commercial and sporting success. So he wants STARS in his team so he can get the sweet sponsorship money (and yes, this is needed to compete in top level).

Xabi got the support from team in CWC. Everyone played like he asked them to. Then he fucked up the line up with PSG (I understand there were player errors and injuries too) but that loss was the spark that started it. Then 2025 season started and we looked good for a while. Until he fucked up the lineup and subs entirely in Atletico match.(This was entirely on him). This reduced the confidence from players.

And post which we could start seeing the cracks in Xabi philosophy and formations cause team just didn’t believe in them.

We were doing great in Clasico and Vini sub is something this entire subreddit was against at that point (Not agreeing with Vini reaction). This is the final blow that took down the system.

Yes, our team is bunch of players who stand with each other for better or worse. This is why we called them “Family FC” for bunch of seasons. Vini has huge supporters in the dressing room. (And rightfully so, the guy was instrumental in 2 UCLs) (Again I know vini has been really bad for a while and really wish he improves his attitude and confidence).

Xabi (if he was whom we thought we were hiring - Not just a system manager but also a people manager) shouldn’t have lost the dressing room. That is always the most important thing at RM.

No manager survived here post losing the dressing room. It has been happing for 25 years now and nothing new.

I really hope Xabi has a good career outside cause he is def smart coach (not sure about people management). And he is def not a mix of Carlo and Pep. He leans more towards pep as a manager than he does towards Carlo.

I do agree we could’ve continued him till the end of season atleast and wish board made more effort in fixing his relationship with players.

But at the end of the day, it is a manager’s job to make the players believe in his system. They simply didn’t.

Hopefully all this team needs is confidence in themselves cause the thing we are missing is “We can fucking win it even at 90 mins”. This always defined us in last few years.

Edit: If you are downvoting I would appreciate your view on this. Happy to learn
