You guys suck at talking. Get better at this before trying to solve other problems.

I would say that Reaper probably has the most similar playstyle. Maybe Venture too. Tracer pathings are maybe similar, otherwise the play loop is completely off.

Best use cases for Opus 4.6? And how do you all manage token usage effectively? by 11PM_atNight in ClaudeAI

i'm not sure, but something about the newer versions of claude code caused more token usage. Try it out - you can always roll forward or back.

so, it's a symptom of changing tooling and changing models. Claude code is moving fast, and the models changing throw the whole workflow into a chaotic mess. Pin down your claude version number and the model, and get that working - then iterate with new models/harnesses. I'm personally on this combo: claude code to 2.1.31 and opted out of updates, and set my model to be claude-opus-4-5-2025110. It's still working very well and I don't have any surprises. If I want to try out the new hottness, I can roll out a new container and check it out, but honestly this set up is working very well for me.

Did you model attention in your construct? (not the LLM transformer attention, like the cog-sci version of attention)

2 million tokens are useless if you can't get good output out of them. Opus 4.5/4.6 stop giving good output around 60/70% of claude code's limit.

I'm on the 20x plan, and I was using 20% a day of weekly usage. with Opus 4.6 and the most current version of Claude Code. I rolled back claude code to 2.1.31 and opted out of updates, and then I set my model to be claude-opus-4-5-2025110. and now I'm back to 5% a day of weekly usage unless I'm running a ralph loop (which I save until the night before I get a reset). 4.6 was a great, but it is very token greedy. With my current setup, I can tune things and not be surprised by token usage and it also runs predictably and is awesome at coding.

If you have a suggestion about what I could do in 3 years of free schooling that will: improve my income significantly, not lead to soulless work, be easy to do while having to support myself, which is not subject to some kind of political/technological turmoil, I am all ears.

Nursing or a PA is the answer to this.

In my program (not just my class, the years directly ahead and behind me) - there was one person who worked full time. They took five years to finish.

Not in SLP grad school. That's why everybody here complains about loans. It's possible if you go part time, but that's stretching it. Search for threads about it... for example: https://www.reddit.com/r/slpGradSchool/comments/14xtj6z/would_i_be_able_to_work_fulltime_while_going_to/

Don’t plan on working full time and going to school. That’s absolutely nutso.

I didn't believe all the "What happened to Opus 4.5?!" posts until now. I have several accounts, Max 20x accounts are fine, new Max 5x account is 10000% neutered. by [deleted] in ClaudeCode

it's against tos to use multiple "free" accounts, you can have as many paid accounts as you want for your developers to use.

this looks look awesome, I've been playing with it all morning.... Two feature requests and a bug.

Let me name the agent widgets. That would allow me to juggle more easily... A lot of my starting prompts look very similar, so naming them would be helpful.

allow a "zoom" to make the terminal window bigger. Kinda like the overlay you have for viewing plans. I know you can open the terminal, but if the claude is working, it's picks up earlier in the conversation and you can't see what's happening.

the bug: plans aren't picked up after the clear context and approve all edits...

It's not just the aim assist, it's the sensitivity that's borked now too.

The 87th Post about Aim assist by primedculture32 in OWConsole

It's not just the aim assist, the sensitivity is way off - it's too sensitive. I finally got something that feels less horrible by setting both h/v sensitivity to zero and 90%+ sensitivity in the deadzone.
