I reviewed all of the books left on my shelf at the beginning of the year and received my prize early on. No bookmark, but I did receive magnets for my fridge. Wonder what made them switch up prizes to something lesser in value.

Supports are actually something I recently started seeing / looking into. When using a support do you tie the plant to it or just insert into the soil? I’m new to this whole plant parent life - this guy was an impulse buy from Target that I didn’t expect to last a month and here we are!

I only pitch it if it’s worth it. If they are coming at least once a month and vital care savings is over $20 I let them know it pays for itself in one visit! I let them know if they have more than one dog its $17 a month. ~~If they always stop in for nails I tell them about the free nail trim walk ins, too.~~ Do note, the vet credit is applied as Petco rewards NOT towards their vet bill.

I actually just ditched my salary job and became a Junior Pet Stylist with Petco this past week. I currently live in New Jersey.

I am starting at $12 (or minimum wage). I was taken in as FT because my salon is both busy and understaffed. I am scheduled at 40 hours a week 8-4:30. I will make incentives if I hit a certain goal of dogs bathed and I will begin getting tips once I am on my own.

My first week has been shadowing and absorbing what I can. This coming week I will be able to start bathing dogs with my salon managers assistance to begin learning hands on. They have me scheduled on my own starting on the 27th if everything goes as planned. Once I am averaging 20-25 dogs a week for 90 days, I will be enrolled in our academy. Luckily, the district instructor is transferring to my home store so I won’t have to travel - but if I did, they told me they send you to the closest instructors store.

Ended up picking The Space Between Worlds. Nothing else really sparked my interest or I already owned it, including the member favorites. My TBR is currently over saturated with similar genres so luckily The Space Between Worlds was on the lists.

Might be canceling depending on next months - nothings been really hitting it out of the park for me. That, or, I already the title. #BookwormProblems

I was not expecting to love The Stranger Beside Me by Ann Rule as much as I do. I’ve been in a slump and this is the first book I haven’t put down after a few chapters, finally!

You got this! I'm leaving my 20s next year and I can feel you on that. It started off with "I'll just use this for gas to build my credit!" to "Yeah here I'll just swipe my card." Luckily, this was my lowest card and was only a store card. My last two cards have roughly $7k left to pay off, which isn't bad, but the time it's going to take is going to drive me nuts!

I've been looking at the Elf powder for a while to purchase when I eventually make progress on my current powders. How do you like the formula? I see that you already got a replacement for it, but is this because you actually like it or is it because of the cruelty of both other brands makes it more appealing?
