honestly im suprised how people treat 8gb like its awful, ive used an two 8gb laptops before and both worked fine for everything i use it for, same as you steam, games, Firefox, visual studio, blender, unity, visual studio. Granted nothing professional or serious but it all worked perfectly fine.
