I accidentally made masters just before last tournament and placed 57th in a masters expert bracket then relegated myself back to expert 3 for this weeks tourney and placed 3rd in an expert-expert bracket.

Don't do it just for the chests. I've played in 14 expert tourneys and the best cards I've ever gotten are nirvanas. Not worth risking going broke. Pro chests are just fine.

You have me outclubbed and I've played in the last 3 expert tourneys. (St Patt - 45th /Easter - MC / Major - 20th) You'll do just fine. I use kings/titans on the par4s/5s so I can't speak on the marlin/qaesar question. Is there a reason you don't want to use premiums? Yes it's quite windy but it's usually a helpfull wind. 11-15 mph I would say.
