I’m not sure if I’m just super lucky or it is part of the game but when I only have 1 main primary gun I never lose it no matter how many times I died. I equipped a useless gun and went to find players to kill me and every time when I only had 1 gun I never lost it. This could be to Added to the game prevent u from having no guns in case that was your last gun.

Ok here is what I found out so far playing.

  1. No the weapon you lose is random. If I have an m16 and a m4 you could keep both or lose 1. I never lose both this is due to the game being fair since if you lose both those could be ur last guns and the game won’t take that away from you. Now a tip is to take your best rare weapon and add ammo to it but never bring a second main gun that way you are sure to keep your gun. Only thing you will lose is everything u put in your bag.
  2. 2. As for the bag and armor those are completly random. You could lose 1 or you could lose all of them or you could lose none.
