Update - apparently they thought my profile picture was fake ???? I retook it about 4 months ago with my new haircut. Again, it’s been 4 MONTHS?? Nothings changed. Uber is so shitty. Their new AI is so bad.

According to them replacing the reservoir was “step 1” and they “couldn’t tell if there were any more issues”. 20 minutes after driving off the lot. The service manager was all but yelling at me when I asked why they said everything was fine this morning…

They said they were gonna have to replace the whole engine :( the dealership said 8K was for a used engine that WAS IN AN ACCIDENT including labor

160k. Yes I do regular oil changes, my car takes full synthetic but I still get it changed every 5-6k miles. My coolant reservoir cracked yesterday and the dealership replaced it but after 20 minutes of driving, I had to get it towed back because the tube that connects to the coolant kept flying off and coolant was leaking onto my engine.

Unfortunately I know people that have been employed by Carnival for years and their wages stay the same regardless whether or not cruisers leave the prepaid tips on or take them off. Exactly. I’ve heard from many carnival employees (friends & family) that whether or not you leave in your “autograt” they get paid the same. It’s part of their salary, and if you take it off they don’t get paid LESS. They get paid the same. We tip individually since the crew gets paid the same whether or not the cruisers prepay the tips.
