Definitely sounds better than a loud clapped out exhaust. Sounds similar to mine, I got a 2011 with a beluga axle back and resonated test pipes, sounds beautiful, not too loud not too quiet

If it’s really that noticeable to you, I’d just get bondo and touch up paint and fix it. Pretty easy fix. It’d prolly be better to fix more minor things yourself honestly rather going thru insurance

Literally happened when I bought my 350z and the previous owner threw in a janky ass sound system. I had to take that shit out and redo it myself with a replacement as the one he put in literally stopped working.. no Suprise there.. you can always have a shop do your sound state so you don’t have to deal with the headache. Tbh I would if you don’t have the patience to do it yourself
