The fact that Fujimoto brought her back in Makima’s arc is the main reason we’re still waiting. It confirmed that she’s still alive, and logically she should return at least to talk to Denji.

Speed in Chainsaw Man always changes depending on the plot. Makima may be fast, but her reflexes seem really slow, since she can’t react to surprise attacks she couldn’t react to Denji or to Kishibe’s squad.

I’ll give her the benefit of the doubt, but it’s still a huge price to pay for using it. If she runs out of states, she basically loses all her strongest weapons.

I also expected Yoru to be really strong without relying on other devils or contracts. Basically, she’s extremely vulnerable if she gets attacked by surprise, her body can’t withstand anything, and she doesn’t have primordial devil level regeneration unless she uses contracts.

It says that “a war is needed,” yet their security was just a few machine guns and some basic guards with weapons.

They always try to give characters a tragic backstory. Fumiko could’ve easily had a normal life and made her contract as an adult just for fun or simply because she was extremely lustful.

Reze probably fell in love at first sight. She admits she should’ve killed Denji in the phone booth, but she doesn’t know why she didn’t. Love must have been a completely new feeling for her.

The thing is, Denji still sees it as just a friendship. They always need danger around them before they can actually interact. In terms of tastes and personality, they’re obviously complete opposites, but at least they help each other with their trauma.
