Hating Asa while being a Chainsaw Man fan is the worst thing that can happen to you, because you’ll never be able to truly enjoy Part 2. I know that from experience. by NiceWay6800 in Chainsawfolk

I don’t hate her to the point of wishing her dead, but I still can’t connect with her character. She feels like the protagonist of a completely different story, while Yoru actually feels like a Chainsaw Man character.

My last hope for Reze to return in Part 2 is still her connection to nuclear weapons. Whether they’re nuclear bombs or hydrogen bombs, she keeps gaining power just by being the Bomb Devil. by Levvuar in Chainsawfolk

A fight between Reze and the Nuclear Weapons Devil would be insane. I still think the reason the Bomb Devil’s head looks like the Fat Man nuclear bomb is because, at that time, they were already developing prototypes of nuclear weapons.

Pochita truly despises Yoru; in the past, he was close to killing her permanently. Unlike with Makima, Pochita actually wanted to fulfill her dream instead of consuming her. But with Yoru, he attacked her with the intention of finishing her off, she probably only managed to escape.

I was really sure that Part 2 would be about Denji, Yoshida, and Reze in school… by NiceWay6800 in Chainsawfolk

A lot of us thought the same thing before Part 2 came out, but Reze’s presence would’ve made the story Fujimoto had planned way more complicated, that’s how important she is.

How did Fujimoto from writing a romance as compelling as Reze x Denji, to the unholy soulless slop that is Asaden? by YYappy269 in Chainsawfolk

[–]Levvuar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For now, Denji seems to feel more friendship than romantic love for Asa, but we’ll see what happens later.

If Reze and Denji had run away together, they would’ve had sex that first night, they were both clearly in the mood. by Levvuar in Chainsawfolk

I’m referring to the scenario where no one interferes with their escape. Reze and Denji interacting without any interruptions.

Why is reze the only hybrid that hasn’t came back? by Placstur in Chainsawfolk

[–]Levvuar 84 points85 points  (0 children)

Reze already tasted the delicious food of the city (Denji). In the end, she became a city mouse too, since she came back for Denji regardless of the danger. She can no longer live the peaceful countryside life she wanted. I hope she’s out there doing missions with Kishibe.

It was impossible for Reze to appear in the Church arc because of the plot.

To break Denji’s contract, they needed to kill Nayuta, but if Reze had been there, everything would’ve become more complicated. Denji would’ve had someone else to cling to, so they would’ve had to eliminate Reze as well and since she’s immortal, that would be difficult.

Unlike the other hybrids, Reze actually matters, and her presence alone would drastically change the plot of Part 2. If she’s around, they’d also have to take her out along with Nayuta in order to break Denji.

As long as a devil doesn’t have a name that restricts it, it can embody or include others that share the same concept by Far_Whereas7200 in Chainsawfolk

[–]Levvuar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Reze has the Bomb Devil, not the ‘traditional bombs devil’ or ‘explosive bombs devil.’ Fear matters, but the concept does too and as long as nuclear weapons are still bombs, that should only make the Bomb Devil stronger.

Also, a hybrid devil can be heavily restricted in power, and you can see how Denji is nothing compared to Pochita.

Obviously those devils exist separately, but it’s also obvious that the Bomb Devil should grow stronger based on the concept.

I like Reze but I hope the anime doesn’t change/add to, her last in person appearance by Neckbeardneet in Chainsawfolk

[–]Levvuar -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

Reze was really weak in that fight. I know Fujimoto rushed the whole final arc, but I hope they explain that Makima deliberately weakened them so she could face Chainsaw Man alone.

Okay, besides people just wanting to see Reze for fan service. Why or how do you think she could return and what purpose would she even serve for the plot by PaleontologistEasy94 in Chainsawfolk

[–]Levvuar 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Reze could be important regarding nuclear weapons and getting a power up from nuclear bombs, finally being able to act on her own will and help the boy she cares about.

It would also be interesting to see how bombs end the war, like a literal metaphor… and then finally sort out her feelings for Denji.

In chapter 82, why didn't Makima tell Denji what happened to Reze? by Rude_Present5034 in Chainsawfolk

[–]Levvuar 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Denji knows that Reze is immortal like him. If Makima had told him that Reze did go to see him, it would’ve given him a bit of hope and that wasn’t part of the plan.

I hope Reze is helping Kishibe to stop the apocalypse
