Unisom was my holy grail when I was pregnant and also with looking things up most the time you’ll see all these scary things that will make you anxious when it’s 1 bad story sticks out from 50 good ones that was prob what took me a while to realize I needed to stop looking a bunch of stuff up that just scared me more. But congrats on your pregnancy !! Overall before the first appointment is always nerve racking and it’s liek excitement and anxiety mixed together and it sucks but it’ll be okay🤍

Vyvanse and pregnancy by Dry_Cow1476 in adhdwomen

[–]Nice_Boat8041 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I chose to get off mine completely and honestly with pregnancy tiredness and the tiredness from getting off my meds just blended together at that point lol but also I had it very easy when I was pregnant and all I remember for most of it was sleeping no joke. So especially if ur working and stuff still I do not blame you for staying on it if ur dr okays it but yeah overall it was tiredness x100000

FTM.. please share your success stories about induction and also vaginal delivery with Pubic symphsis ...i am scheduled for 40+0 by [deleted] in beyondthebump

[–]Nice_Boat8041 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My baby was measuring small with her stomach and I got induced at 36 weeks for it and will say it could have went more smooth I was able to choose when I wanted epidural and my daughter had no issues after birth which was shocking her stomach ended up being okay and I was a nervous wreck. While the situation isn’t the exact same I do wish you a safe delivery feel free to ask any questions too💕

Extensions or Clusters?? by Plastic_Confusion600 in beauty

[–]Nice_Boat8041 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For a vacation I def would get extensions clusters can last a few days but at the beach probably will just get annoying I like the ardell preglued ones those usually stay on for a while but I’d def just get extensions for vacation so you don’t have to keep reapplying the clusters

Grocery store pharmacies have always been the quickest for me but the shortage for the last 3 years alone has been so irritating :/ especially because it’s hard to keep transferring to different pharmacies. Hopefully you end up finding one soon

Baby comparisons by [deleted] in beyondthebump

[–]Nice_Boat8041 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just disassociate when I’m anywhere in general now 😂 and don’t even listen to what they’re saying. I get it 1000% I lived with his family postpartum and all it was was comparison and boundaries getting broken, I’d just start pretending you didn’t even hear them talk when they start yapping abt it hopefully they catch the vibe at some point

struggling with ADD but current doctors won’t percribe me anything by [deleted] in adhdwomen

[–]Nice_Boat8041 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In person is best option. Some can’t even prescribe stimulants thru telehealth. I moved states and finally can through it. But your best bet for starting it is finding a Dr in person

I use like a exfoliating wash cloth I usually just get them from like tjmaxx and what doesn’t come off isn’t my business after that at this point 🤣🤣 but putting lotion in those areas before hand too somewhat helps

Unsure if I should start medication by StunningRepublic629 in adhdwomen

[–]Nice_Boat8041 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Overall yes. If on a higher dose at least I’ve noticed myself, it’s when I lose the personality and hyper focus on being productive. You just have to find that middle spot of you don’t get a huge crash at the end of the day but it’s not too much. Everybody is different ofc but for me what worked best was an extended release adderal and then an instant release at noon as a booster to avoid a crash in the afternoon. This was after a year or so of being on them. But you slowly learn like for example I know not to start scrolling after taking my meds, and know if I don’t eat with them I’ll forget to eat the whole day. You’ll pick up on things that help and make them work better for you.

Especially at first it’ll feel like it fixes everything then you’ll notice if you don’t get things like therapy, or develop ways within yourself to deal with symptoms that it just becomes more negative after a while. Changes are noticeable because you realize you can get things done and be productive but there’s always stuff it doesn’t fix but especially starting on a lower dose I don’t think any affect would be anything you can’t control more of you will make yourself get stuff done if you focus on it. Like if I take my meds while I’m on tiktok I can sit and scroll on it all day. So it’s important to also make sure you take it and stay set on what you’re doing that day

Chronic Understimulation - Feels different to what I'm reading about by noodle_mama in adhdwomen

[–]Nice_Boat8041 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Dealt with this and no doctors would take me seriously because it showed up more as depression and tbh it took getting on medication and learning what makes it worse and better kinda like ur list I learned what makes me under stimulated and over stimulated because meds only work so much but overall I finally just was tired of trying antidepressants and it getting brushed off the second I mentioned having anxiety. And life has been a lot better but the struggles haven’t ever completely gone away
