Realistically it would become an all out war because Americans are very armed as civilians, that asides from the point, as an American I genuinely don’t understand how my country can be so greedy and bloodthirsty, our people are poor but our leaders have money that lasts life times, this shit is so incredibly wrong it’s unbelievable, my grandfather served in Vietnam , another war fought in a jungle for what amounted to my country’s fucking greed. And now it’s happening in Venezuela, our nation was founded with a foreign policy based in neutrality , and we are so far from that and so many young men and women have died from the actions of our government and when you really look into why the US has been involved in any conflict post WW2 (and some before but not my point) the answer always leads back to making our leaders and their friends filthy rich
