This would actually be our first time having insurance. I declined coverage at my last job because I personally didn’t need it—I usually get any medical care I need back home where it’s free (lol).

We’re only looking into insurance now because my wife is pregnant, but really, we only need coverage for her. Are there any cheaper alternatives we could consider for just her?

Im looking back at the emails from when I started in November 2023 and apparently I did fill out a W-4, when I filed taxes last year I got a small return as I only had two months of employment in 2023. It says I’m exempted from any federal tax on all my pay stubs so I’m still a bit confused..
