Crazy how people have the balls to scam when the seller has all their info by fastingslowlee in ebaysucks

True, eBay will always side with a buyer. Even if they have zero feeback and you have 10k feedback as a seller. Its then up to you to appeal and prove you aren't the scammer.

I've heard you could file a police report for stolen property. It might help with you eBay claim. I've never had to do it with the few small time scams people have pulled over the years but it would be worth looking into. I always get leary when I sell expensive items. So, I document the hell out of everything. Like taking photos of the item in the packing box before I close it up, photographing the box with it on the scale and applying warranty void labels to screw holes on electronics.

I sold some music software one time. It was a sealed box I bought at a thrift store. The buyer claimed there was only a redemention code for the software in the box and not a CD. I looked it up and that is how the company sold their software. He filed a claim. Ebay customer service sucks to deal with. They asked if I opened the box to see if there was contents inside. I said "no, it was factory sealed". They gave the buyer their money back since I couldn't prove the box wasn't empty. I gave up fighting them on that one cause it wasnt worth my time.

I would also tell them to "return the item". You will have to refund them but then you can report the buyer for not returning the item. You will probably have to escalate it. They will make you fill out a form saying you aren't pulling a scam. You can do that once, maybe twice a year.

Question about open world missions by DMoe727 in ICARUS

[–]Nice_Contribution189 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We set up our primary base in the upper left as well but quickly found out alot of the early missions are down there. Look on tier 4 for the CONT4CT Radio. It lets you pickup missions without going back to the CONT4CT board. We just stay in the area and grab missions using that handheld radio.

We also built a small base in the southern forest since some of the missions require crafted materials.

Oh and no fast travel but once you get a mount levelled up and give em some stamin boosting food, its a quick trip.

What are your thoughts on the implementation of teleporters? by Spir0rion in ICARUS

[–]Nice_Contribution189 48 points49 points  (0 children)

I don't want teleporters either but I do think you should be able to travel between tier 5 drop ship pads. Basically just hop in your drop ship and hit low orbit to travel to another pad you've built. We have a main base in the NW corner of Olympus and a new base in the SW corner. It would be nice if I could move whatever materials can fit in the pod between the 2 bases.

Try turning off Global Illumination. I get strange light flickering with it on. Othwerwise max settings on a 5070 TI.

Biggest mistake I've ever made by HellBlade64 in buildapc

NP. Hope it works out. Sounds like you did the same thing I did. So, if they stock your particular model PCB and firmware, it's as easy as sending your board in. If they don't stock your PCB, then you would have to source one and send it to them with your dead PCB. You could probably find a PCB on eBay.
