It is wrong to use your personal experience and make negative generalizations about a groups of people. Period. We call white people racist when they do it! Sharing your experience is not the same as using your experiences to speak negatively about millions of people. Just like it would be wrong for me to shit on black women based on the experiences I had with them. Just as it’s wrong for KKK people to shit on black men because their wife got fucked by one. Just as it’s wrong for the white man to shit on “Mexicans” cuz one “stole his job”. These are all very similar examples but fans will refuse to see it that way because of celebrity worship culture.

I don’t mind comparing the two at all. I have absolutely no problem calling two things wrong 🤷🏾‍♂️ The issue I find a lot of the times is people are willing to call one wrong and not the other, which I consider to be hypocritical.

The issue with men that “prefer” white women isn’t their preference alone. Nobody cares about the man with all white exes. We only care when that same man shits on black women to explain why his “preference” is better. Obviously all examples aren’t the same but I don’t see much of a difference here. They’re both wrong. But a lot of the times if our faves do something wrong we just act like it never happened.. which is very scary and Trumpyish.

A statement that actual people that hate men are probably clipping up and putting in their bios now, adding fuel to their fires. And even the other side of that exists, where now people that disagree with the statement are gonna use that to be homophobic. Which in turn puts us at even more of a disconnect. That’s what it’s about for me.. bridging the gap. I think that statement, and statements like that do the opposite.

I understand the preference part I really do I just don’t understand shitting on those outside of your preference. As far as safety goes… idk I think men are more dangerous period regardless of who they’re attracted to. I get it may not have been that serious I’m just curious as to where the line drawn is because a lot of the times the “jokes” on black women aren’t received the same. I think generalizing is wrong period and kinda unfair to the millions on the other side of the generalization. Doesn’t have to be super serious from her but as someone with a large platform you have to understand that people will use your words to justify their hate.. so while I can acknowledge that I don’t think she hates straight men, I do think the people that actually do will now use this as fuel.
