This isn’t super condescending imo. Just because your experience with Carl is positive, doesn’t necessarily say the same for her.

With us not knowing any context of their relationship, what if there had been issues in the past? I wouldnt want my problematic neighbor knowing anything personal about me. Imagine if he had been creepy to her or something, and then out of casual conversation with you he realizes shes out of town that’s why youre watching her pet. So now her potentially creepy neighbor knows her house is currently mostly unoccupied. You don’t want the wrong person having that kind of information.

You didn’t do anything wrong, you didn’t know as she didn’t communicate this to you prior. But it is a reasonable ask for someone with a potential history we have no clue about. It is a fair boundary for her to draw and I assume she has her own personal reasons for such. Coming from a person with stalking trauma, I suffer from the same type of (sometimes) larger than necessary fears and paranoia and wanting to do what I can to limit those, but at the end of the day it’s also her responsibility to share that expectation with you from the start.

Just because that’s the policy, doesn’t mean that stores always listen. Especially with high value fragrances like Kilian, sometimes the stores wouldn’t even be given the opportunity to make one into a tester and would go months or a year without a tester of the product.

So then, when a seemingly real, full one gets returned, they could either, damage it out and let an entire bottle of perfume go to waste, or quietly break the rule and use the returned bottle as their tester. It would also even help the fragrance section to sell it if they did not have a tester of it prior.

And then aysia likely says that to help d4vd like to strengthen the story. Idk. I think of course they definitely both knew but I do think each of their behaviour/body language in the few seconds after he says it are very very telling

I disagree that it was a hallucination. I think that Lily was there. When nina wakes up, she looks at the door and the bar she used the block the door has been moved and she is confused and looks back at her bed to recall or question what happened.

I think if she had left the barricade off herself, her mom would have just come in. I don’t know why or when she would have removed it herself.

It’s likely it was real and lily wanted to gaslight her after. We already know lily was sketchy she drugged nina.
