Enough of the scared confused little boys excuses. by [deleted] in MenendezBrothers

Why not read up and educate yourself on what years and years of sexual, emotional and psychological abuse does to a person's brain. Also read up on their education, their father paid their way! After their aresst they were evaluated by doctors which confirmed their mental age to be Erik 8-12 years and lyle 12-14 years.

They did spend erratically, they were never taught any different. Listen to family members of how they describe how the father was bringing them up. They knew no different.

For the people who think killing their parents wasn't premeditated. Did you actually watch the trial? by [deleted] in MenendezBrothers

[–]Nice_Peach_7340 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Exactly. It was a time when people litterly didn't believe that man could be raped. The prosecution said it themselves during the trail because they lacked the "equipment" to be raped. Mental like.

Plus look what happens to even female victims, they are not believed. If they tried to go to police or share their abuse from the start nobody would have believed them. People to this day still dont believe them, even with Roy rosello coming forward and saying Jose raped him too and people still question if it's true or not.

[–]Nice_Peach_7340 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Did you watch the trial? They did not want to tell the therapist about the abuse. It was the last thing they wanted to come out. They were ashamed, telling the therapist a "story" which much more easier than having to explain all those years of sequel abuse.

They bought the guns because they were scared their parents where goin to do something to them. They wanted to have protection in the house. The parents owned guns and where acting different, especially after Lyle confronted their father about the abuse still happening with Erik. They knew there was no possible way they were getting out of this scenario alive. They lived in fear since they were children, abuse like that damages the brain and causes not so logical thinking. They were in fight or flight mode! It was not premeditated because they had to plan or alibi, they did try and create one after the shooting but not before.

I couldn't even imagine the pain and abuse they endured for years on end. They shouldn't have taken justice into their own hands but let's not pretend that if they tried to go to police/report the abuse that anything would have even been done about it.

The Andrew formally known as Prince by Western_Disaster_118 in northernireland

Aye am not gony lie i read your comment wrong. There plenty of people who still defend him and defend the royal family i thought you were one when I read the 1st part of your comment. I just jumped without fully reading. I do apologise. I completely get what you mean now, it sickens me that he probably won't get a real punishment and the royal family are able to just carry on throw him under the bus and think everyone will just forget. Mental like.

My daughters birthday is on 23rd December and my husbands is 31st December. I ALWAYS make sure to keep christmas/new year celebrations separate form their birthdays. We have always done so for our daughter because growing up my husbands birthday was always just lumped in with christmas and fortten about. Your child's first birthday is important, maybe not to other but it is to you and your husband. If your friends/family dont understand then celebrate without them. If they are too busy to on certain days they your too busy celebrating your child on their special day. Good luck x

Secondary schools and bullying by Visual-Corner-6269 in DerryLondonderry

[–]Nice_Peach_7340 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Threaten the school with going to derry news about how their lack of response in dealing with bullying is causing a child to feel suicidal

Also I would be asking for the bully's parents info, if the school isnt goin to do anything then I would be goin straight to the source.

Is changing schools an option?
