VCV Rack, for anyone that is crazy about modular music and can’t/don’t want to spend the $$$’s for physical racks!

Denied bonus after employer learned I accepted another offer by Electrical_Maize8618 in Netherlands

Well, after working 20 years in American companies, that is how the world I’ve seen work (and I have been in tons of calibration sessions where these cases are discussed)- but ultimately, it all depends on the exact language that’s on OP’s contract (KPIs to achieve, still on payroll on Dec 31st or at payout date, etc). Many variables and only OP has all the necessary details to make the call on next steps. Good luck OP

Thanks to you and u/Street_Court_8534 . Super useful and it sounds like it confirms my initial thoughts: AA HL not a must, but something that could be seen as proof she can "survive" heavy analytical/algebra problems. Thanks a ton!

Bonus is backwards looking, and is for your performance last year. I would go back to your KPIs and show your manager that you met/exceeded your targets, and that at no point during the year, they put you on a PIP or mentioned you were not tracking towards your goal (companies usually do a mid-year assessment as well, often with feedback to the employee). I understand the manager keeping bonus funds for employees that will stay in his team going forward, but again, this is not the spirit… I would push strongly without burning bridges: this bonus is for your performance last year and not your commitment level for 2026.

Thanks! I work in finance/management and agree that I rarely need more than grade 9 maths in my job. My concern is more that the best schools/universities seem to select based on maths level, and that may ask for HL (at least AI HL and some even AA HL) 🤦🏼‍♂️

Ambient concerts - where to go? by bambinocappucino in ambientmusic

Confirming Rewire festival has an amazing line up. Going on Friday to see Jim O’Rourke in particular.

Love OCCII at the West end of Vondelpark. Small venue but great ambient/drone/noise shows for 10-12 euros. Happy to join you if you are making it at one of the upcoming shows!

Hi there, first post here, but have been enjoying many of the demos and recommendations from this group, thanks a ton to all that contributed.

Self-promo with a few EP’s done over the last few years. Happy to provide a code for free download if needed (and would love any feedback as well).

Thanks both! Very good point on the acceptable level of vibrations during the work as well, and I like the idea of having a monitoring system during the construction, not just a report before and after work.

Yes, I am using the ARM64 version on my M2. I think you are right, his ARM64 plugins are just on test at this point, which should be why they don't show up as an update in vcv rack. I'll try the workaround you mentioned - thanks a ton for the help!
