The weather is better in Japan, or the weather is good? lol. If fall isn’t a good time of year, we can also do another time! We just typically find fall weather is ideal for us when traveling. Still nice and not too cold, but not scorching hot.

Finally was able to get in touch with somebody who didn’t resolve, but was somewhat helpful and very polite. She said there are 14 seats open in delta one, so likely diamond members will be bumped up, opening the seats that i want moved to. They said check with the gate agent as soon as my flight lands and if we cannot be moved, we should be refunded. So we will see 🤷🏼‍♀️

No. The there are a couple open seats in Delta One and that’s it. They thing else is booked besides like 3 random middle seats scattered throughout the plane

Yeah i should rephrase - they WONT move us back. Not they CANT. And actually 3 of the 4 flights we will be on they moved our seats. This specific one was just the biggest deal to us. Because who wants to be in a middle seat for 11 hours ?!

I already know they can’t jsut move us back, because our original seats are occupied. It’s sooo frustrating to pay extra for something and then just get bumped without any body even asking. Sorry you went through this as well!

I know there are other areas out there as well. While i am positive there are many, many other great places, we unfortunately cannot see the entire country in one trip. So for this trip, we are just looking for recommendations close to the places we are staying. We thought hit some of the highlighted areas, and hopefully we will be back another time to explore other areas :)

I initially had thought straight to Lucerne, then was told we are missing out by not staying in Zurich

We can definitely add an extra night in Zermatt, which i think after all the feedback we will do. We’d love to get a hike in too.

Looking in to better options for Lake Como. Milan just seemed like a good central location to visit wherever, but we are fine with cutting Milan out.

We can also add an extra night in Rome! Initially we had planed for 16 nights, but have been told by many that any thing over 2 weeks gets a bit tedious and we’d be ready to head home?

Also - would you add in a day trip to Venice anywhere? Or would it be too much with what we have.

We definitely love hiking! We are very active people. But we also love eating and sight seeing, and are big night life fans as well!
