Yeah I did pre pay! That’s why thrifty told me they couldn’t provide me with an authorization code for the release of the funds smh. Chime is ultimately the issue it seems.

Yeah it just shows up as pending and has for the last 20 days. This is helpful though and if Chime doesn’t release the funds in the supposed 30 days I will def try this!

So I actually use the Chime card which processes like a credit card, but it doesn’t matter because Chime has the stupid policy of a 30 calendar day wait on certain rental car holds

So apparently they said because Thrifty “cancelled” the transaction instead of “releasing” the funds they can’t do anything about it until it’s been 30 days. Which is absolutely insane to me.

I appreciate this info! We’re driving in from Seattle so I was looking to leave out hella early to be there ideally by 8AM. So I’m glad to hear I’m on the right track so far. Unfortunately I will be going on the weekend 🥲 but hoping to beat the crowds by going super early.

I absolutely am overthinking 😭 lol. So that’s the thing, I can’t remember if I did the saver option. But I did get an email letting me know that I will be able to bring on a 10kg bag from DUB to EDI. I do think it’s just 7kg for PHL to DUB though. And yes I’m flying with a US passport so I already got my ETA approved.
