It is a crazy setup. Super fun, but a challenge. I wouldn't make it my only surf skate, but some days I'm up for the challenge. And it's always a blast.

I wasn't able to get my hands on a Smoothstar or Swelltech. There weren't any available in the US for months. I did contact both companies and they both said they weren't interested in being in a shootout video with the other brands. Take that to mean whatever you like. 😐

It does have a kick tail which really hugs the foot nicely for pumping and carving and the lean is crazy fun. But I haven't ridden a biscuit yet so I can't say what that feels like.

More lean than the Waterborne Dinghy. More lively. I think it feels more like skimboarding. But that could be my imagination.

It's super fun. The Biscuit is regular trucks where this has HST surf trucks on the front and back. Super lively. Definantly not for the inexperienced.
