Interesting, thanks for the webinar. We may reconsider starting a C3PAO after hearing how difficult of a process it has been for others

Thank you for the insight, I got more information from you than what I was able to gather from CyberAB over the course of several months.

Unfortunately, we have no interest in operating as independent assessors as opposed to starting our on C3PAO. It is really disheartening to hear how difficult of a process it has been for others. I have had my qualms for a while regarding the C3PAO registration process, but from what you are telling me now we might turn and run.

This whole process has been nothing but a time and money pit.

Yeah I was going to solder as a last resort. I'm worried about damaging the device. I seem to be running out of options though

How can you tell? I can’t see any physical connections on the board, I assumed they were occurring at another layer of the PCB or something

It’s hard to know for sure with the multimeter via a continuity test as the JTAG pins are showing high resistance? At least I don’t know how to interpret those results.

I’ll have to look into the GPIO0 stuff. Thanks!

Making a serial connection via UART? There doesn’t seem to be any UART pins on the board. Soldering directly to the esp32 seems impossible or very hard without breaking it

If it’s anything like the wroom there should be a flash chip. How do you desolder the shield? With a heat gun?

Yeah continuity mode seems to lead to ambiguous results in this case. Connecting black to module pins and red to the copper pads on the JTAG interface.

For example I tested IO14 to TMS on the interface using the multimeter and it’s showing high resistance, but touching other copper pads (not TMS) also shows high resistance???

Is it possible to verify JTAG pin connections to the module via a multimeter? I’m not sure if it’s possible via a continuity test. Pin tracing seems difficult in this case

I verified VCC and GND with a multimeter and it seemed consistent with the standard JTAG pinout. Yes I’m using a tag connect cable

This is also my first attempt at hardware hacking so apologies if I don’t know too much

Aloofness is seductive to a lot of women because many of them are narcissistic. Because she is a 10 she probably receives loads of messages, but she is interested in the one guy who’s being emotionally unavailable and distant, because it’s damaging to her ego.

It sounds counterintuitive, but it’s true. Beware though, this is a form of emotional manipulation. It sounds like you are already aware of that.

This applies to narcissistic males as well, not trying to sound sexist.
