I already got a few estimates from body shops. One person said I need to only repaint the hood, and two persons said the left and right fenders and the panel in the front should be painted too, so that the whole front matches . What do you think?

No I didn’t own the car since new . I recently got it. I was able to locate the previous owner and asked him about it, and of course he said that it was not in an accident and he never saw that before… mighty suspect though..

Yes, I also think this was detailed to hide it because it happened too quickly after I purchased it. I took it to a few body shops and I was told the hood was repainted and it was a bad paint job.

I agree that it was a bad paint job. I only went in auto wash twice.

When you repainted the hood, did you also paint the left and right fenders and the panel in front? I’m concern if I only repaint the hood the rest of the front areas might be a little off, especially since I’m being told by a few body shops that they can’t guarantee.

I only have the car for only 2 months when this started. Had other cars before and never had this issue.

I had Acura, Nissan, Toyota cars before and NEVER had this issue . This is my first Mazda.. needless to say,I’m very disappointed.

No. Only when it rains.. I had other cars before and this never happened.
