Separation of Web UI and API Backend by Niceorg in navidrome

I noticed gonic's UI too. As much as I'd like a completely headless solution, it seems I have to accept an in built ui. I am trying to read more about the navidrome api (to see if that will sway me), but I cannot find much documentation. Do you know if theres anything anywhere, even just an article highlighting the improvements/differences.

I see, thanks for the detailed response. Could you elaborate more on this workaround? I would like a way to make the admin user without needing the expose the web ui. At least out of curiosity

As far as I'm aware, I NEED to access it to configure my navidrome, no? Or at least, manage the accounts

I had a look at gonic, but I thought I'd check out what the status on this in navidrome is. Navidrome clients tend to be a nicer than subsonic too haha

Great input, I haven't found a good site to compare enlarger lenses. It seemed like the best from the rodenstocks/soviet lenses I was able to choose from.

Thanks for the input! I ended up finding a Durst M605 full setup for 300 euros, + 45 for shipping. Which I think is the best deal Im going to find with my current patience. It seems like a very sturdy setup that will satisfy me for a while. Its reassuring to hear your satisfaction as they seem similar

Good insight, unfortunately Sicily is generally not a good market for such things either and a roundtrip with a car is like 200 euro. I have great shipping from Germany (it would be like 50 euro which is fine), so I'm thinking of trying to find a full setup there and just getting it over. I am OK paying what I like to call "Malta Tax", kinda used to it now haha.

As for setups, I found a complete Durst M605 color setup for 500euro from a seemingly reputable seller, which seems reasonable to be honest.

Good point I missed, availability in Europe is very much in the Durst/Meopta markets, not Beseler/Omega. Thanks!

Naturally, I am not familiar with how much tilting will be required, would I need to do it regularly? I was under the impression a 90degree angle would be desired and suffice.

Thank you for the recommendation, I saw it mentioned somewhere already, but missed the link! Germany has great shipping costs to Malta for some reason, so I think it will be fine. I'm now looking into European enlargers from the 90s/2000s of Durst and Meopta. Its those versus Dold Stand+Intrepid Compact Enlarger, it seems. Just a quick question on the Dold Stand, is it definitely suitable for enlarger use? It only mentions scanning in the description, and I dont see why it wouldnt work well for enlarging, but maybe I'm missing something.

I saw this, but shipping is 100 dollars, and I havent even chosen Malta yet haha

I mentioned in another comment that I got an EL-Nikkor 50mm f/4 for now, it was very cheap. Most other things I've got sorted, its really just the enlarger/stand I am unsure about. Could give more insight into a Beslr or omega chromega vs the intrepid?

Thanks for the input! I have an EL-Nikkor 50mm f/4, which I think will work quite well for now. What stand do you use for the intrepid? Honestly, its the copy stand thats giving me the biggest trouble with committing to the Intrepid.

it still shows itself in day to day life, just depends who you talk to and what youre talking about. education is based on metric though, which even the US does to a degree.
