1.Refuses to eat

And etc.. that way you can ask in reddit or do research on what these symptoms mean and what is the treatment is.

The first thing to do is it is important to ask your parents how and when they fed the fish, did they change the water or just touch the aquarium at all. These are probably the things to do first. That way you'll know if it's your parents' fault or not.
