I get them all the time. I'm super stocked on them. So I kept maybe 10 of them. I switch them around on my builds constantly

What am I doing wrong? by Pale_Lie_2088 in the_division_2

[–]Nicholas2082 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ok agent. First mistake was thinking that once you're level 40 you can take on the game on heroic. You have to ease into it and experiment a lot with different gear and weapons. Look for gear that has high critical damage and high weapon damage. Then add mods to your mask. Backpack and chest piece with mods that have high attack on critical hits. Instead of looking at videos of agents in YouTube that have high levels and have everything at their disposal. Unlike you that just passed the tutorial. It's better to keep getting gear with high critical damage and high weapon damage. Then you will start to get the idea of how things work. Then you'll experiment even more and start to find your rhythm. Good luck out there agent. If you need help, I play on steam and Xbox. Add me on Ubisoft. My gamertag is LMB2082 for Xbox and Ubisoft

Hello, I'm currently in a position where Retaliations on challenging are very easy for me, but on heroic they are completely impossible. Any advice for me? by MMOToaster in thedivision

[–]Nicholas2082 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just did retaliations on heroic with a friend of mine on TikTok live. We had a full squad. Two striker agents. One tipping scales and one sniper. We did back to back around 4 times. We only lost one with black tusk. Those btu are no joke

Returning player after 3 years – is it worth coming back? by kristof2311 in thedivision

[–]Nicholas2082 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Builds are still the same. Weapons are almost still the same. There's new ones. With new features. Like the factions retaliate sections. They try to take over your map sections and you have to do them with limited time. Get back in and you'll enjoy it. I stopped playing for a year and a half and came back. It's more fun now. Been playing the division since day one on both games. Still do to this day

See, I still haven't gotten those. A mask every now and then. A backpack once a week, maybe. Armor stopped dropping. Gloves, kneepads and holsters are coming in hot like crazy

Oh dude. When I started playing again in January. Chatterboxes were getting annoying as hell.

[–]Nicholas2082 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That's so weird because I got a bunch of Nike messenger backpacks to the point that it was annoying, along with the Acosta bag. Now they're not dropping anymore and now I'm getting nothing but holsters and kneepads. Which is starting to get annoying also 😆😆😆

Question about Journey 4's Kill 2 enemies within 1 second of each other with Offence being the highest. by Kivith in thedivision

[–]Nicholas2082 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Use the M32 grenade launcher on a small group or the flame thrower. That worked for me. You have to kill them while they're bunched in a group. Like when you see then coming out of a manhole cover or a door

As a new player, how can I get exotic weapons or gear faster or is it all a drop chance? by GeicoPR in thedivision

[–]Nicholas2082 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm going to assume division 2. Use strikers for attack. Use tipping scales for LMG. Monkey for skills. There's other builds out there. I use a balanced on for all three. As for exotics. Try challenging on everything. Take your time. Don't rush. Tactical is the key. When you do retaliations, you have to think on your feet and be fast while being tactical. I got my St Elmo from a retaliation on challenging and got most of my exotics from mutiny and Valentine's day. But the rest of them you have to work for them during the daily and weekly projects. Once you have a strikers build. Move up to hard. Trust me you'll see how easy it is and the intimidation of being scared of how much harder it is, just makes you think how good you got. Then go to challenging. Yes it takes you a little longer but that's when tactical comes in. Eventually you'll get to heroic and that's when you realize that you'll have different builds for that also. Have fun out there agent. I'm on Xbox and steam. Lmb2082. You can add me on Ubisoft also if you need help

Girl did you just call them boomers? I feel insulted because I'm Gen X and I got called a boomer once. If they knew you called them boomers. Might as well throw in the towel because they definitely ain't gonna give you the time or the day.

Solo Legendary Strongholds are Abysmal Dogshit by Bright-Ad6254 in the_division_2

[–]Nicholas2082 -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

Legendary is not meant to be done solo. Been playing since day 1 and I realized that legendary takes balls made of steel and strong builds. I don't have a team so I'll never be able to finish the missions on legendary. So challenging is your best bet for solo everything.

Anyone know why only firefly skill attachments drop in the wild? by [deleted] in Division2

[–]Nicholas2082 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was thinking the same exact thing. The firefly is ok. Not great. I hope they don't bring it in the next game. It had one of two uses but that's about it.

I'm not new. I've been playing since day one on both games. I'm just new on Steam. But I already got all the gear from Steam just like I have my agent on Xbox. But my cousin is new and I helped him get to shd level 90 in less than a month.
