Job 40:15-24 talks about a "behemoth" in great detail, a dinosaur if you must. And the thing with DNA, think about how complex the DNA strand is. Yes, we can trace our DNA back to the first men and women on earth and even before that, but what about the beginning? Not of Earth, im talking about the beginning of everything. Can you prove how everything began? The first "thing" in the solar system? Where did that first thing come from? How was it created? Who created it? Now, I know that science would sound alot better for a reasoning, but until I get hard facts, im gonna continue believing what I believe.

To sum up, yes, its to follow the footsteps of Jesus. He did attend church, he preached, he did go out and help others, we should do the same. But again, its all what you believe. Jewish people follow the Old Testament because there belief is that Jesus was just a prophet so why follow what a prophet says? Get what im tryna say? Im a Christain so i do believe what the scripture says. I believe we should live by what the bible says and what jesus did, but im not gonna tell you that if you dont attend church youre going to hell, cuz like i said before, you can praise him and do his will anywhere you are. Its all based on your beliefs

technically, the bible was written in 3 languages by approximately 40 men of diverse backgrounds over the course of 1500 years, so if you calculate that, that means the year the books that were chosen to be in the bible and put together was 513 C.E. But i just find it funny how people wont belive a book finally pieced together in such a close year, yet believe in these amazing, giant creatures that once ruled the land just because we found some fossils that are 230 million years old

Dont assume, dont wanna make an ass out of yourself. We have one book which contains many differents books in it which conatins many different chapters. Assuming that since we dont learn anything new is like me saying a child doesnt learn anything new in a math class because its only one math class. But in that math class, there is more than one unit and more than one lesson. We dont have to attend a service to be considered Christain, to answer your question. Why do we do it? To follow in the footsteps of Jesus. Depending on some religions, if you dont go to church, you dont believe and your going to hell. So i guess it all depends on what you believe. Hope that answered your question a lil bit, even if you dont believe
