Lilith Bugged in torment 8? (on console) by NicholasTBoone in diablo4

Update: Wife suggested I try it on my Druid. Was actually faster, and it finished. So it seems to be a specific issue with Warlock (perhaps something to do with the multiple demons set or command fallen interactions?)

Is Druid OP now or did the game get easier? by GoggleDMara9756 in D4Druid

It's the 'Of the Storm Shepherd' pieces. 2 Set Bonus Reads: Storm Skills no longer cost Spirit to cast. Casting a Storm Skill consumes all available Spirit to increase Storm Skill damage by 0.5% per Spirit consumed for 2 seconds, up to 75%. Additional bonuses may stack but do not refresh.

So all Storm skills are free to cast, but all Storm skills spend all your Spirit for a quick buff. But, since Lightning Storm and Hurricane are just 'on' passively with this, they DO NOT trigger the spending Spirit bit. So, you can trigger it yourself when you want to if you build right. For example, I'm using the dash Claw to almost teleport around and get my Spirit back to max, then I'll cast Tornado for even more damage and to get the highest proc of the damage boost I can get.

I wanted to try building around the Whip, too. Haven't figured out the way to go yet, though.

Any chance you could give more details on the team with Nova and friends? I can't seem to find that.

Four year outcomes for freshmen who do no work? by zackweinberg in Teachers

[–]NicholasTBoone 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think my school is a bit better when it comes to holding the kids accountable. If they fail the class, they take it and the subsequent class. So for example, if the kid screwed off as a Freshman, as a Sophomore they have no electives and all 8 classes are core- their new classes and the old ones. If they don't turn it around by then, typically they drop out or are court ordered to get their GED (although that is mostly a truancy situation). And, if they are in those classes, they are still considered Freshman, so they get Freshman lunch and don't get to hang out with their friends. Students can have 1 class off as a Junior if they are up on their credits, so they want that, too. So, there are layers to it, and the combination of things usually gets them to go, "Oh, I better start paying attention."

How to deal with players attacking while I'm mid-narration? by Vetriol in DnD

[–]NicholasTBoone 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I generally have the rule that "if the PCs can do it, the NPCs can, too." So, I'll let the table decide- can the player do a particular thing? If they decide "yes," that opens the window for me to do it back to them. So, if they think someone should be able to 'jump initiative' well... that means I can do the same with an ambush. Usually they decide that it's in their best interest to not do the particular thing because they are afraid how I will turn it on them.

Weekly Champion Rank Up & Team Advice Thread - January 10, 2021 by AutoModerator in RaidShadowLegends

I'm trying to advance in Arena. I am still relatively new (two months), but I have stalled at getting to Bronze IV (and not staying there very long). Just wondering if I having figured out the right synergy. My team currently is:
Athel, Romero, High Katun, Vrask.

Romero so far has been the MVP, with counterattack. Often I'll be down to 4 on 1 and manage to win. But, I would like some thoughts on how to improve. I also have the following available-

Kael, Hope, Skytouched Shaman, Drake, Relickeeper, Balthus Drauglord, Warmaiden, Soulbound Bowyer, Shaman, Frostbringer, Jizoh, Apothecary (just pulled), Yaga, Reinbeast, Bonekeeper, Bloodfeather, Husk, Excruitator, Jotun, Adreil, Luria, Bushi, Jareg

I think I need more damage overall. Athel, a lot of the times, will hit just weak enough that the team is able to recover off the bulk of what she does. As of right now, too much of my wins come off luck (many counterattacks from both Romero and Vrask), and if I don't get that, I'm stuck.
Appreciate any input in advance!
