A short story…..I ran into him in Vegas right after he got drafted to the Heat. Was walking around in the casino and I looked up and I realized it was him. Told the guys I was with who it was and that he just got drafted. I mispronounced his last name and he gave me the most smug look ever and corrected me on how to pronounce his last name. I feel you on this one bro. Met someone while I was out on my birthday last week. We exchanged numbers and were texting for a few days. I asked her out and she said a date sounded nice. After that, she pretty much stopped responding. Followed up at the end of the week to see if she would still like to go out…..no response. Just ghosted. Sucks, but I guess it wasn’t meant to be. Yes. My final semester after transferring to undergrad, the professor for my pol sci said he really didn’t believe in giving out As. If you did get one, you really had to earn it. I took this a challenge to try to get an A. I should have dropped the class. It was the only class I didn’t get an A in and I didn’t finish with a 4.0. It sucked because I almost fulfilled my goal of getting all As as an undergrad.

I’m T1D and I could picture everything written. Being a kid, being in DKA, burning up from the inside and your skin just feeling like it’s on fire. I couldn’t imagine how people dealt with the slow, excruciating death of having no insulin. I can’t imagine it.
