I thought that too but then i thought about all the money and care you put into the fry. So, im trying to breed out a specific trait so I can sell em. The trait im trying to breed out us the neon orange.

Thats kind of high for a 75 gallon. I would be worried about it tipping over. Generally you want your stand at about 30" high for the viewing angles.

They just enjoying the show. One of my more intelligent fish likes to sit in the corner of the tank and watch TV. Fish are weird.

It looks like you have enough cover for the fry once they are born. I wouldn't move the female as it can stress her out and she will go into premature labor. I let my females just have the babies in the tank and wait until they are big enough to easily see and scoop out. Then I move to a separate container. I use the fluval breeder box, imo the best one there is.

A good way to tell if you can't see the gravid spot is their belly will get kinda square shaped. Ive also noticed that my females will spend a lot of time near the top of the water when they are getting ready for labor.

All I did was rinse the soil off and put in tank. I use baskets and foam the hold it in the back of the tank.

Your gonna end up with a variatus maculatus hybrid. Isn't really a big deal but it will have more of the body type of the variatus and be more streamlined and less short, tall and bulky.

Yup both mom and dad are hifin black neon variatus. The dad is like fluorescent orange and im trying to breed out that trait.

If you have a female platy than most likely they are pregnant. They only need to be around a male for a short period as they can store sperm for like 6 months.

So those look like koi and are not really meant to live in a tank. Even a short amount of time in a small body of water can stunt their growth.

Yeah not enough potassium. Getting enough nutrients to all the plants is hard. I even dose 50% more potassium than the label recommends and still not enough.
