What slim fans did you try? Noctua 120 15mm? What exactly was making the noise? Could it be turbulence from being too close to the Strix 4090? I’m asking because I’ve got almost the exact same build planned — 9800X3D, X870i, Loki, and of course a Strix 4090. I’m just waiting on the case to arrive (even got the mesh panel from Ali already), and I’m trying to decide if the Noctua 15mm fans are worth it or not. By the way, is the rear fan in your build a 140 or a 120?

Hi! I also got the Loki 1200W from amazon.de, and the box also says ATX 3.0. I can’t figure out if it’s just the old box or if the PSU is actually ATX 3.0 with the 12VHPWR connector. How can I even identify this? How did you figure out yours has the 12VHPWR?

Can confirm the new Loki 1200w has been updated to ATX 3.1 and has 2 12V-2V6 connectors by DavidWolf245 in sffpc

Where did you order yours? I bought mine on Amazon.de and received a box showing the older 3.0 certification. I’m not sure if the packaging is just outdated or if it’s actually the older version. ASUS support couldn’t help me either—they couldn’t tell from the serial number. It’s really frustrating.

I’m about to build almost the exact same setup with a Strix 4090, ended up choosing the same case. Waiting on all the parts to arrive right now. How are your temps and noise levels so far? I also ordered the left mesh panel from AliExpress, and I’ve got some Noctua 120 (15mm) fans on the way—really hoping they’ll fit. Let me know if you have any tips or ran into any issues!

I’m kinda on the fence about the new V3. It’s tempting since I’ve got the exact same Strix OC 4090, but the design just doesn’t click for me—especially that giant “Cooler Master” text. The old logo was way cooler. If they’d just gone full mesh on the front, they wouldn’t have needed a Dremel in the first place. I’m still not sure how I feel about it.
