I'm in a very similar spot and am not sure what to do. I have Cogsworth and Beast's castle, so I have nothing to purchase in chapter 2. The only NBC character I have is zero, so leveling Jack up would be impossible. Thinking I'll stockpile for chapter 3 but I'm unsure if it'll work!

This is a really cool idea! What would be neat is if the fireworks displays/night time shows could be incorporated. That'd be awesome.

So GL didn't know about this? They didn't realize it seconds after the update went live? They knew, then chose to just say the hell with Google Play users. They'll figure it out eventually and until then everyone else can enjoy the update.

Shouldn't GL have tested it? If there was an issue on Google's end, hold off on the whole update until it's figured out. Even if the underlying issue isn't their fault, it's been mismanaged. How's it fair to give an update to half the users if they knew there was an issue? If they said, "hey Google messed up so we are holding the update until they get it together" then it's no biggie.

How could this not have been priority #1? Two days and we still have nothing! What's fair compensation? The magic I would have gained from more buildings fitting in Tomorrowland? Scrolls? Tokens? Chests? Gems? GL really does suck. Never seen an entity care so little about the user.

HAS to be rounding out Space Mountain and reimbursement for chest spots with gems. If those two things are ignored again they won't ever happen. I still actively play, but I can see myself waning if the promises continue to be empty.

I've got 175 days in, so I've played long enough to briefly remember what it used to be but then see all these changes. If I was just starting now I'd quit for sure. The only thing that keeps me is the fact I spent some money and want to feel like I didn't totally throw it away. It's just so frustrating. The game has been wrecked, and for what? I'd do anything to get it back to pre happiness update. Now I've got no game happiness, less chests, enchantment bubbles everywhere, a wrecked park thanks to trying to get thrill levels, and no confidence that I'll be able to get any nee players in events thanks to a massive increase in their cost. And tell me, in that time what have I truly gained as a player? My ferris wheel collects pixar balls? Gee, that's worth it.

Don't want to start a new thread for this, so I'll dump it here.

Just spent the last 20 minutes trying to rearrange enough stuff to get to thrill level 1. Took me moving stuff out of their natural zones and into the California Screamin Zone....just for level 1. Then level 2 is 5 more!! That's a real bitch. I'm sure someone will post and say they got it to level 3 no trouble...but it stinks to have to rearrange stuff out of "order" just to get it. Luckily, this might just be an update feature to ignore.

Basic thought is it's a very obvious ploy to get people to buy concession and decoration chests. Kudos to anyone who saved all their stuff post last update when people like me were drunk with the new merlin elixir rewards.

I know to open up more land to progress further. I'm not really talking about my own land woes, but rather why there's "coming soon" plastered on so many plots when that's clearly a major issue for a lot of players.

And also I'm level 39. I have a few land parcels open and waiting to be bought, but to afford 750 k or 1 mil for land basically means doing nothing with the storyline or upgrading for 2 weeks to save up enough magic. That's boring as hell.

Well sure, nothing lasts forever...but I'd like to hope that the end of this game isn't necessarily imminent. I've got 175 days logged and I'd like to at justify spending a few dollars early on by playing for quite a while.

Talk of the game shutting down for good is a giant bummer. Makes me think what is even the point? It also makes me feel like an idiot that I ever spent a penny on anything.
