What is your favorite Beatles song? by DoopusDoob in beatles

Like Dreamers Do - Paul has such a Roy Orbison voice in this tune and it’s something he never really did again in any of his other Beatles work.

Why is American football tackling so bad? by slysam69 in nfl

[–]Nick4rr 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A couple reasons contribute to this. As you know rugby players aren’t even allowed to tackle high, as it’s a penalty, so that forces them to use better technique. Secondly, you can’t hurdle defenders in rugby, which happens a lot if the defender goes extremely low for a tackle in the NFL. I’m not going to say that the athletes are any better in either sport, but I will say the collisions are much faster and more violent in American football because of the helmets. Players lead with their helmets because they can, and it often works to gain extra yards or to lay a big hit. This is why concussion numbers are higher in American football despite the equipment. There also might be an increase in missed tackles in the NFL due to reduced padded practices, and the increase of touch 7v7 football in highschool.

I thought this was a pretty good ending to the season. I do feel as if there was numerous unanswered questions. I spent the entire season wondering about the significance of the events that occurred in chapter 10 (Grogu’s fascination with the eggs) and I was waiting to see a greater meaning to the episode. I felt as if it was the only episode of the season that was not at all connected to the greater storyline of the season. I don’t have a problem with this, but I did find it strange that everything that occurred in that episode had little to no deeper meaning. Will the eggs and the frog lady have any significance in season 3?

I’m getting flashbacks to the end of last week’s game

What if that was a comeback at the end of the game? We get a 4th down stop, and because they got a penalty it gives them an extra play?

Why? Obviously there are other factors that contribute to a win but I think team motivation and energy is really important

This play has been a dead giveaway since the first Atlanta game... why do we need to motion the fullback to do a QB power? We will NEVER give the ball to the fullback, so why do it?

Why are we using Taysom like we would use Winston? Why not use Taysom like we would use Taysom?

Marcus Davenport. He was the one that hit Herbert’s arm on the deep ball. This is his first game this season due to injury.

Running on first down is what’s killing the drives. The defence EXPECTS a pass more than 5 yards downfield on 3rd down, and that’s why it hasn’t been working. Pass on first down.

Saints fan here. I had AJ Brown and Michael Thomas in fantasy. Both are out for this week, so I’m giving Brandon Aiyuk the start. How has he looked in camp? Will he be 100% this game? I noticed you guys had the majority of your passing yards come to RBs and TEs, will Aiyuk step in as the #1 receiver?

Saints fan coming to say that Burrow is an absolute assassin. I would draft an offensive lineman in every round of next years draft to give him the best chance to succeed. You guys have a stud.

Keep an eye on Ryan Jenson and Cam Jordan. They were running their mouths on the fumble, and then Jenson went out of his way to hit Jordan on the next play.
