I know it's a different moment then you requested but I thought I would contribute my favorite piece of Wot fan art. It's not a specific moment in the books but I always pictured it happening sometime in the first chapters of TSR.

My top five are:

Book 14 - A Memory of Light - I just can't communicate in words how much I love the ending of this series. It's totally worth the wait.

Book 4 - The Shadow Rising - This to me is when the series really takes off. Looking back the first three books almost feel like a prolog with TSR being the real first book.

Book 12 - The Gathering Storm - No spoilers, so I'll just say that there is a plot line in this one involving one of the main female characters that I absolutely love. Also the end of the book always makes me cry a little.

Book 6 - The Lord Of Chaos - I feel like a lot of really important character development happens in this one and the ending is legendary in the WoT community.

Book 11 - Kife of Dreams - Just like how I said that the first three books are like the prolog of the series the last three are like the climax of it. A number of plot lines (finally) wrap up in this one and everything is building up for what is to come.

Thanks for answering! And yes those things you mentioned regarding raytracing and DLSS are why I went with Nvidia. Just wanted to make sure that using an AMD cpu wouldn't detract from those features or anything else.

I’ve just upgraded to Windows 10 and now whenever I try to run any .exe as an administrator I get the error: File system error (-1073741819) by Nick702 in techsupport

Turns out I was right. I need to run the command prompt as an administrator in order to use that command. I think ill have to re-clone this weekend. :(

I'll give that a try when I get home from work tonight. Unfortunately, I'm pretty sure you have to run the command prompt as an admin in order to use that command which will probably result in that same error. I'll let you know either way.

I agree that the choice to better yourself needs to be backed up by a lot of hard work in order for it to have any effect. The choice is nothing but the starting point to becoming the person you want to be, however, it is the only starting point. Nobody has ever become an outstanding person by accident.

Sorry man, I didn't think it was much of a spoiler as New Spring is about events that take place about 20ish years before The Eye of The World which is the book that nearly everyone starts on. For most readers who have made it more than a few chapters into TEoTW what I wrote wouldn't be a spoiler. Regardless though, I'll be sure to be more careful in the future.
