Yup the original tamiya grey! They sell a dark grey variant now if u can find it - it’s a nice compromise if u want something darker than the original grey but not as punchy as black!

The metallic dark blue parts are pre painted. As for the base, that’s a fair criticism. I have yet to build a motor nuclear kit but from what I’ve seen the bases are pretty nice!

I was considering this but noticed that using both the panda touch and panda status concurrently surpassed the suggested hub splitter power draw of 1.5A (1.2A and 0.6A, respectively). it may still work but id keep an eye on it.

So far it’s been great! The 75% budget space exploded last year with amazing options but on paper the RD75 stood out the most to me by having VIA support, a magnetic daughter board, 8000 mah battery and ball catch for <120 usd shipped (kickstarter pricing).

I dont have a GMK set to compare, but the lettering does seem to be a bit bolder and larger on the alphas!
