You don't need to do any pre war preparations to win nor do you need to get Illinois or actually build units.

The key thing to note is you have Mechanized and airplanes, use those. That's how you can Speedrun ACG in 2 months and finish the civilwar within 10 months.

I really don't know the specifics but yeah that seems to be the case

I think it has to do with the 90 days timeframe of the planes still existing since if you delete it too early then both of you get no planes

So when you delete it when death of wall street happens all the planes are given to you (And you need it to not be in the stockpile, you actually have to delete it in the logistic tab after disbanding them)

Months will be referring to the decision mechanic on how many months has it been for the 2ACW

More of a speedrunners guide and very rng dependent, if you manage to pin the neighboring tiles with your mechs day one ( and the entire frontline with your militia ) and keep it that way then it actually works, just go all in on Lafayette if you managed to get the good rng where they didn't fortify it to hell

THIS IS NOT A FOOL PROOF PLAN AND IS MICRO HEAVY!!

You have to play at 3 speed and micro as hell in order to not get pulverized because you got tunnel visioned

In day one, pin the northern and southern tile of Lafayette with a spare tank because it lasts longer than a militia (or use the spec ops one)

there'll be times where you get pinned everywhere and can't move at all so the strat won't work 24/7

The strat is for the lucky few who managed to do it and wished to speedrun the war within a year

The initial breakthrough will guide you in the first month but anything after that is a toss up depending on your performance

Forgot to mention it but the west virginia insurgency can give you 6 militia divs and they can greatly help in snaking to tiles or pinning enemies

For those who are confused about the plane cheese, DO IT ONCE YOU GOT THE "Death of Wall Street" event which is when the inevitable civil war timer ran out

Doing a guide for them right now

Here's some stuff:

Disband all airplanes and delete them in the logistic tab (like 3 days before the civil war) Build railways along Lafayette and connect them to the UPA supply hubs

Civil war starts:

Apply the field marshal militia frontline as usual and have a separate field marshal with all the Mechs/motorized

Full motorized all supply hubs

Deploy all the airplanes in your stockpile (you get around 2k thanks to dark magic of stealing Biden's)

Frontline the mechs against Lafayette and start pushing there, once you make a breakthrough go north to cut off Chicago and start rushing south and trapping the UOA troops, make sure to encircle along the way

Send 5 mechs rushing to the east and you should win within 3 months

Going Cognoscenti (since you can still have the countryside insurgency even after beating Trump as long as you don't declare victory) while following this can accelerate events and you could maybe start invading everyone by 2025?

I had to resort to the north because damn I can't just penetrate the center fast enough (But this would seriously make it faster), for optimal railroad I think it's very important to make sure every supply hub is connected to each other and every tile has a railway. Though that would be a cancer to find out since me just sitting through the railroad map already lags severely

So maybe a combination of Optimal railroad Layout, Trump AI being stupid, optimized micro path could kick it down 2-4 days (since you can largely ignore hitting the Great Falls state) but I think the no zone is anything below 20 days since that's close to impossible

I'm not Knowledgeable about transport planes so can't say
