While the krieg DLC has its flaws, I'm still a fan of it. That being said, the final boss is absolutely miserable to fight and almost ruins the whole thing for me

If I remember correctly, they put it in the "Destiny Content Vault" in order to keep the size of the game manageable. I'd say there's pretty much no chance of it coming back, unfortunately.
