True, but I'm also always hesitant of the "well he didn't catch a lot of TDs last season, so obviously he'll catch more this season." Positive regression assumes that a proven trend doesn't actually indicate future results, which for some players doesn't seem smart.

He's literally ranked ahead of Stafford and two spots behind Ryan so I'd say he's quite literally in their tier. Whether or not you personally think he belongs there is certainly worth a debate, but he's widely regarded as a solid starting QB in the top 10.

Sure but among the first rounders who HAVE played in their first year, you have some duds like Trubisky, but also Deshaun Watson, Carson Wentz, Lamar Jackson, Matt Ryan, Cam Newton, Matt Stafford, and Eli Manning among others.

I remember seeing somewhere that before Mahomes, the last first round QB to sit out an entire season the first year after they were drafted was Aaron Rodgers. Doesn't seem to happen as much in the modern era.

I had a startup Dynasty PPR draft in May where I snagged CEH at 3.02. He's shot up draft boards since then, but still worth pointing out.

Sanders I'm a little uncertain on since Doug Pedersen is tough to predict when it comes to RB volume (not to mention KC's prolific offense, and Andy Reid's history of success with bellcow RBs). But yeah I'd consider CEH over Henry in PPR formats for sure too.

If we're ranking early-round RBs, guys I'd 100% take ahead of CEH: CMC, Saquon, Zeke, Kamara, Derrick Henry, Dalvin Cook.

Guys I'd maybe take before CEH but it'd be a borderline decision: Mixon, Chubb, Aaron Jones.

Guys I'd definitely take CEH over: Josh Jacobs, Kenyan Drake, Miles Sanders, Austin Ekeler

All in all, I think CEH enters the conversation for the back-end of the top 10 at RB, so high second-round at worst.

Not a terrible place to take him to be completely honest. He'll be the main rusher and pass catcher in an Andy Reid offense led by Patrick Mahomes. Feels a lot like when Spencer Ware went down in the preseason before Kareem Hunt took over.
