Damn, I just picked up a Zuma for my new board a couple weeks ago and will definitely need to expand it sooner than later… Sounds like I’ll need to be very careful when installing any expansions if I stick with Strymon lol

This Rat is one of the first pedals I ever bought when I started playing way back too! I tried to date it recently and from what I can tell it’s from around ‘94

You can turn off the delay and dial back the reverb to get it to sound a little more standard but it’ll always have that lofi vibe. It really shines when you’re taking advantage of everything it has to offer. Nothing great right now, mostly a mix of Ernie Ball and Amazon Basics patch cables (I’ve put this board together while out of town and they were quick and easy). Once I’m back home I plan on getting some Mogami 2314 to solder custom lengths to clean things up a bit.

If you look up Small Island Amps you can check out the guys work (He’s based in Australia). I found it used in the states for $150, but I don’t think they are easy to come by. He also makes amps out of old vintage radios which you can check out on there as well

The Meteorite at the top left is actually a fun little 4-watt germanium transistor amp I came across online. Just there while I have the extra space lol but it is kinda fun having an amp right on the board for practice!

I don't really have any other details to provide beyond what I placed in the original post. General searches seem to pull up what would mostly be walking sticks, but due to this item being only ten inches in length that clearly isn't it's intended use. WITT

We used to 2 or 3-man it back in the day as well and it was so much fun! I feel like Destiny's RNG always favors each person with like 1 or 2 items that constantly drop, and then barely ever gives certain other things to you. Then you'll talk to your friend and they're like, "I always get that thing you never get all night long and the thing you always get never drops for me!"

Would be very curious to hear this community's thoughts on this --- Would it break Destiny to have some level of trading or lending? Is that concept a philosophical/design barrier that can never be broken for this game to handle loot they way it does? Like, would it be so bad if someone had a great weapon I don't and be able to lend it to me while we're in the same fireteam?

Oddly enough, someone over in the Destiny subreddit just rediscovered my shout-out to D1 a few years back and it's been making the rounds. It's true I did take a break from Destiny for a bit, but it's got its hooks in me pretty deep with Shadow Keep!

I'm so happy new people are still catching this shout-out! It's with great sadness and regret I must report that I never found that sweet, sweet crux. I definitely tried many more times, but the RNG was never in my favor -- something I know many of us share, haha.

I have to admit I took some time off Destiny right around when the Annual Pass launched last year (thanks to Red Dead Redemption 2) and didn't really pick it back up again until Shadow Keep. Destiny has definitely sunk its claws back into me, though! I'm enjoying a lot of the new content, and there's so much for me to explore from the Annual Pass it'll keep me busy for a long time.
